Educational Project

Health Project

School building is the cornerstone of C.AID's educational project. To ensure the success and sustainability of our schools, C.AID works with local governments and communities on project implementation processes. The local education office has the task of providing teachers and school books; basic one school includes 4 classes for 500 kids and costs about 60,000Euro (15K per room)

Libraries are built in some of our schools to enrich existing classes. The Agricultural Institutes work at timetables according to which students come in the morning or afternoon. Libraries allow students to have a place to study even when they have no lessons and their cost is 50,000 Euros.

Laboratories are built only in some schools because they need more complex and expensive equipment and therefore do not build so many. They are therefore only present in the high schools and thus provide access to the essential equipment for scientific subjects for students. They cost around 50,000 Euros.

Toilet facilities are a crucial part of our educational project: girls have a higher rate of school leaving because they do not have a bath for their intimacy. By building separate (male / female) hygiene services in schools, the dropout rate is drastically reduced.
